Some members would like to offer some instruction to individuals to show the basic procedure of Shotshell reloading.
There may be some mystery and apprehension for people to load their own shotshells, but we would like to show the construction and basic process to help dismiss these ideas.
As we have seen during times of ammo scarcity, being armed with the knowledge of how to load your own shells, it is possible to produce shells for yourself.
Pretty much any Shotshell being sold in the stores (weather for hunting or target shooting) can be replicated by loading your own shells, and some of the specialty shells can be loaded cheaper than purchasing at the stores.
This instruction can give incite to process for further thought if you may be considering the idea of reloading shells in the future.
We will show the basics of shell construction and the process using a reloading press (MEC 600jr - 12 Ga).
After explaining and showing the process to individuals, (time allowed) Individuals can try a hands on instruction at loading some shells (Under direct supervision).
Currently the cost of the class will be covered by a grant we received from ODNR, and we have classes until the funds are exhausted.
